  • It is because of statistics like these that Women On Maintaining Education and Nutrition (W.O.M.E.N.) lives and breathes. The global situation for women is not always an easy one, but by arming ourselves with knowledge and resources, we will claim victory. Our goal is to provide women with the tools for empowerment to face life’s trials. This website will provide vital information to women in Nashville as well as the rest of the world.

W.O.M.E.N. is a community-based organization founded and run by an HIV-positive African-American woman. Because of her experiences living with HIV, we take a holistic, individualized approach to the care and treatment of our clients. We are dedicated to serving the entire person, with services that range from client advocacy to counseling and nutritional advice. Because of the varying needs of W.O.M.E.N.’s constituency, we serve the entire family.

We are always looking for ways to educate, enlighten, and encourage. We invite you to take a look at our website and contact us to let us know what you think. Or, if you are in Nashville please stop in to say hello; we’d love to tell you more about who we are.

    Enjoy,
    The Staff of W.O.M.E.N.
