For W.O.M.E.N.'s HOUSE holistic approaches to care refers to a 'whole' person approach, addressing the body-mind and spirit of women in the context of their lives. Holistic therapies are advocated as a complement to drug therapy, and as an important factor in improving the quality of life of persons living with HIV/AIDS. Support and education groups that give participants psychological and emotional support, as well as information on holistic health maintenance through nutrition, vitamin and herbal therapies, internal cleansing, stress management, exercise, meditation and creative visualization support these truths. W.O.M.E.N.'s HOUSE is designed to be a comprehensive, multi-faceted facility that affords individuals living with HIV or AIDS a variety of programs to assist them with health, economic, psychosocial and family issues draped in research.

At W.O.M.E.N.'s HOUSE holistic approaches to care will include many therapeutic curricula's for increasing self-esteem. W.O.M.E.N.'s HOUSE will be a residential community for women and families with a history of living with HIV/AIDS. W.O.M.E.N.'s HOUSE was founded not just to help a sub-culture of women, but to help change lives, increase self-esteem and build futures. W.O.M.E.N.'s staff and its volunteers stand in the ready to work for the betterment of women and families whose lives have been touched by HIV.

At no cost to participants, W.O.M.E.N.'s HOUSE will offer women a secure, regimented, and compassionate community for the time they stay at the house and even after leaving. As founder of W.O.M.E.N.'s HOUSE, I stand as a witness to the truth that in the end, surviving life with HIV/AIDS takes love, encouragement and empowerment which is more powerful than all the negative forces faced by infected women today.
